When is it time for a brow touch up?

Color Retention is different for everyone. Many factors will determine how fast or slow your pigment fades out over time. Although the industry standard used to be annual touch ups, we have learned over the years that this is not always the case. Factors such as lifestyle, skin quality, sun exposure , medication and metabolism will all impact your microblading or PMU retention. It is important to consult with your technician when considering a touch up to your Microblading, Powder Brows, or any other permanent makeup procedure. Touching up too soon can lead to over-saturation, migration and skin damage. Also keep in mind that microblading is not a replacement for makeup so a little brow makeup is perfectly normal in between touch ups.
